Changes to consumer loan rates
Effective from 20th March, the interest rate for Green and Home Improvement loans will be increasing by 1.00%p.a.
These changes will apply to new loans funded from Friday 20 March. For existing borrowers, the interest rate will change on 7 April and will be effective for repayments on or after 27 April 2026.
A number of factors have contributed to the decision to re-price our loans, including (but not limited to) the RBA cash rate increase announced on 17 March, a review of the product profitability, higher than budgeted demand and increasing funding costs.
Adjusting interest rates are important to support the ongoing strength of our organisation and manage our members’ money responsibly. As a result, we’re always reviewing our product offering and monitor factors that influence our product, price and distribution options. To put this change into context, a 10-year green loan of $10,000 would receive a repayment increase of just $5 a month as a result of this change.
Supporting collateral will be uploaded to our portal on 20 March.
